IFFD INDIA RUNWAY WEEK

Hi my Fashionistas,
How are you doing?
If you love runway trends, fashion styling or just generally love fashion then this post is for you!

I attended the #IRW i.e the India Runway Week last Sunday on 30th April, it was the 3rd day of the runway week or the finale day!

So India Runway week was a hit this time as it not only pleased the fashion world but was a hit amongst the media members and audiences too! Many celebrities were also part of IRW as showstoppers on various days for various designers!

So since i went on the Finale day, i'll take you through the round up of the two shows i attended.I attended-
5:30 show Shubhashini ornamentals by designer Akassh K Agarwal

7:00 PM show Part1 by designer Tevar and the Part2 by designer Ritambhara Paliya

1. Akassh K Agarwal show

Akassh's collection called the "Tribe vibe collectives" is a dedication to the strong women in society who decide to take on life as they want, no matter how rebellious it is.
He takes inspiration from the bohemian style!

It symbolises old tribal art of PEROI and jadau fine techniques in filigree motif, it has work of stamped light weight metal sheet work ,embossed in 3D and metallic gold & silver work with gemstones like coral pearls, turquoise lapiz lazzuli

He presented it with various accessory options which gives his collection a versatility to be worn with ethnic as well as indo-western!

His show had a social message of "Changing phase of feminism", which is dedicated to today's women who are bending age-old societal norms  and are bold & fierce to set their own norms!

& who better to represent the show as a showstopper other than the elegant Swara Bhaskar

To check his entire collection check out this video-

2. Tevar's Show

Tevar's vibrant collection called the "Rangbari" was inspired by the handicrafts of Rajasthan. Giving the traditional rajasthani culture a modern vibe made the outfits look so distinctive and glamourous.

It was a blend of ethnicity and western silhouettes. The multicolor hues were synonmous with the festivities.
Tevar handicrafts its garments at a design studio & workshop in Mumbai.

3. Ritambhara Paliya's Show

Ritambhara's collection specializes in evening gowns, lehengas, maxi dresses and fairytale wedding gowns which every girl would be fascinated about!

She gives a very urban twist to her outfits!

Her collection is made with pure rich fabrics to execute elegance. She believes that every woman is beautiful and that reflects in her designs as every outfit of hers is an example of sheer perfection in an effortless style!

I personally loved her collection to bits! She definitely fascinated everyone with her creations!

Then came the most exciting part!

The gorgeous Shamita Shetty was the showstopper for ritambhara and she looked absolutely stunning in a gorgeous white cut shoulder crop top and skirt.
