JULY FAB BAG Review

RED CARPET READY With FAB BAG July 2015
28-7-2015

Voila! And here is the July's FAB BAG...with the theme RED CARPET. :D
And i was excited to unbox it .. Coz of major 2 reasons..
1. It was my First FAB BAG
2. The theme was Red carpet :D
which got me more excited!
I ordered my fabbag in the beginning of the month and it was delivered to me on 25th and it was worth the wait!
Coz when i opened the cardboard box i saw this gorgeous golden glitzy bag..which could be used as a clutch too :)

What is FAB BAG?

Its a monthly beauty essentials bag that you get every month for Rs 500/- if you subscribe fr 3 mnths together i.e if you pay 1499 for 3 mnths..but if you pay for 1 mnth only then it is for Rs 600/- plus if you order cash on delivery then a 100 Rs more!
You can order your fab bag from www.fabbag.com

This month they gave a golden bag with two tich buttons so that it can be used as a clutch to match up a glam outfit too :)

When i got my hands on the bag i was happy and i got more excited to see whats coming my way as I had seen some sneak peaks on its facebook page...i knew there was a lipstick coming my way ;)

sooooo  leme go one by one and tell you about the products:

Fab post with a personalised name card

Fab post is a fabbag magazine which has all the details about the products and different ways to use the products. Also there are discount coupons if we want to buy the full size products from their website. And the name card has a welcome greeting with your name and has the list of the products which are inside the fab bag along with their full size price!

1.Vana Summer Shimmer sunscreen
It is Vana Italian bergamot summer shimmer sunscreen.
It is a sunscreen and body shimmer mixed in one..
- It is 100% paraben free
-It has a no. of essential oils which is good for your skin
-it had slightly shimmery particles which makes u look glam when you are out for a party.

With only one drawback..i didn't like the strong scent of it as it is similar to a scent of a (Balm)..i think that is due to the peppermint or may be some strong essential oil present.
But if you like such a strong smell then it is a great product :)

Hope you can see the glittery particles from this sunscreen!

2. Ayorma face wash

-It was a fairness and anti-tan facewash sample which had a citrusy smell.
-The product sample looks promising, would definitely love to try it.
-You can easily toss the sample in your travel pouches/kits/handbags to carry for a minitrip.

The only drawback was the quantity..its only an 8ml product which can be finished in 2-3 uses!
But you can reorder the full size from their website for Rs. 349 for 100ml.

4.Ayorma Spa daily Scrub
- It is a face scrub which is a thumbs up as scrub is always good for a good skin routine :)
-It is like in a combo with the facewash to test
-It is Paraben free just like the facewash which is great :D

but again 8ml which is too less..only good for travel or to toss in a bag!
Full size is for Rs 279 for 50gm

5.Bella pierre lipstick

This is the lipstick i was talking about which looked so gorgeous in the sneak peak that i couldn't wait to receive :)
-  Its packaging was a class...Its in Shade Ruby which is actually a ruby colored red or a dark pinkinsh red..which was looking classy but when i swatched it i wanted it to be a bit matt than glossy as red lipsticks look more classy when matt.
Nonetheless..i give it a thumbs up as it was a full size product.
And this full size red lipstick retails for Rs 1500 :P
I knw...so it was worth to try it in my Fabbag :D *YAY*

Last but not the least there was a product by the Brand Sugar which i had seen in the sneakpeak and i was eagerly waiting for it but it did not come in my bag due to some mistake..instead what came was..

5. Soultree Black ayurvedic kajal
It is an Ayurvedic kajal which can be used to wear daily as it contains no parabens..it contains organic ghee, organic almond oil, camphor and natural pigments as its components :)
It comes in a rotating lipstick form with a lid..although it looked promising but it did smudge as it is not smudgeproof which was a bit disappointing but can be used in a smoky eye as a base color on your lid or when you want a smudged kajal look :)

But i had to write to fab bag for my "Sugar product" and to my excitement they are sending it to me soon... so while i wait for my product to keep you updated..You guys should go and order your july fab bag :) coz it was worth it.. and if you are late to order ur july bag u guys can go ahead and order your August fabbag :D

Monsoon Maybelline Nails

Monsoon Raindrops & Thunder Nail Art
20 July 2015

Delhi's Weather has been acting so crazy lately with Sometime sunny and Sometimes Rainy :P
So with Monsoon on full Swing and Raining whole day you want to be in the comfort of your room..Sipping in some Hot cocoa or Green Tea and trying to chill by your own!

What better than Doing a Monsoon Nail Art to your Nails which goes perfectly with the Theme and kills your time when you can't go out too much or may be when you have to go out it'll match with the season and mood ;)

Its called the  Monsoon Raindrop & Thunder Nail ART  :D
1) Firstly Take a White Nail Paint for your base so that you have a bright CANVAS for your ART.
I took MAYBELLINE's Color SHOW Porcelain Party.

2) Then after this coat dries.. Go ahead With a Turquoise or Teal coloured Nail Paint to Draw the CLOUDS and RAINDROPS :) I took Maybelline Express finish's Turquoise Lagoon.

3) Now that the Clouds and rain is here..lets make it more interesting by adding some Thunder...how better can a thunder be depicted than a purple glitter polish :D
I Used Maybelline Color Show glitter Mania's  Paparazzi purple :D

Use your imagination and draw the thunder on your ring finger nail..to add drama :D
If you can't understand how to draw it..go to your Whatsapp Emoticons  and go to the thunder emoji and make that...i made it from my own imagination so its a little different but comes out
nicely :)

See i drew Raindrops in two colors so that i can add an effect of heavy rainfall which was happening in delhi sometime back non stop ;P
But its totally upto you how u wana make the drops...u can even make it slanted on some fingers as rain doesnt always fall straight..It fall in a Slanting pattern too sometimes :)

4) Finally Seal With a Top Coat.. :) i.e Clear transparent polish and you are good to rock the #MonsoonRaindropsAndThunderNailArt. :D

This is the Finall look girls :)

TRY this super fun Nail Art on a rainy Day and you'l just get into the full Rainy mood and would enjoy the Rains or the Weather even more...It'll look perfect with your raincoats or umbrellas too :D

Do share a pic with me on my facebook page www.facebook.com/Lifestylewithpriya with a hash tag
#MonsoonNailsWithPriya :) or you can email me on lifestyle.priya1@gmail.com or any of your social media pages with the same hashtag so that i can find it :)

The Peachy Pout

Sivanna Lipstick Pencil
14th July 2015

The moment when your eyes go wide when you see such a pretty peach shade that you can't stop  but wonder it is a luxury brand or a drugstore brand.

Like you girls i had not heard of this brand of makeup and i was curious to know the price.
I went to a store in Gk where they have all the drugstore makeup from affordable ones like maybelline to higher end drugstore like loreal too. They had a section where this brand's Lipstick pencil as they call it was kept and they had such gorgeous pieces displayed that i couldnt resist but check out the colors..i was looking for a very girly and princessy peach since a  very long time in drugstore which i did find in lakme and colorbar...but when i did checkout this lip pencil i knew it was going home with me even when they did not have testers for these as when i asked them the price it was Rs250....Whaaaaat??
Did i mention it right..yes 250...they did say it was some brand from East Asia..like maybe Bangkok... but i am not to sure which country.
and guess what it almost seems like a Dupe of  COLORBAR "Take me as i am" Lip pencil in flirtatious pink.
I came home happy waiting to try it soon.

I finally got a hangout where i could try this awesome classy piece of shade.
You know i have all hearts to "Peachy pinks" <3 :D

I tried and the pigmentation was Wow..not kidding guys..check out just one of its swipe swatch.

Wow isnt this shade gorgeous!

Although the pigmentation is very high but it tends to get removed easily after 2-3 hours or may be after a heavy meal containing oil.

It may even make your lips dry if you dont use a lip balm or dont have your lips moisturised but you knw what i would Still recommend this gorgeous piece coz its totally WORTH its Price..

And an added advantage that its a rotating lip pencil :D <3

I bought the Shade 01 and i am hooked to it..Specially when in the day you don't want a very dark shade or may be to go with a Bold Eye look.

Also you can use it as a base under your long wear lipsticks in similar shade if you want a long wear for 7-8 hours else use this gorgeous shade and you can touch up after few hours if it fades. It is a very travel friendly lipstick pencil that you can pop in your bags and you are good to go :)

If you girls liked the review then go for it and if you buy this then dont 4get to share your pics in comments on my facebook page
www.facebook.com/Lifestylewithpriya or the comment section of the blog :)

Also you can write in to me on lifestyle.priya1@gmail.com
For any queries.

Keep smiling, Pouting my queens :*
